Saskatoon Web Design

Saskatoon Web Design was launched in July of 2007 when I moved from Edmonton to Saskatoon. Previously, I operated a freelance web design business as Blizzard Design in Edmonton, Alberta.

I focus on making websites for small businesses and community organizations in my local area. I am licensed to operate in Saskatoon, a registered sole proprietorship in Saskatchewan, and am a proud member of SaskInteractive, our local media industry professional association, the Saskatchewan Advanced Technology Association, and the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Blizzard

I have both a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and a Certificate in Web Design from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (Alberta’s equivalent to SIAST).

My BA degree included courses from Computing Science, Art and Design, and my minor was in English. To complement those soft skills, my Web Design certificate cemented my knowledge of accessibility issues in design, XHTML/CSS coding, Flash and Photoshop techniques, and much more.

The Team

I am proud of the fact that I am the primary contact for every one of my clients. That said, I can’t do everything on my own. I do have a network of other freelancers for writing, photography, and video work. I stand by their work as though it were my own and rest assured that you’ll maintain that one point of contact (Saskatoon Web Design) for all your questions.
